Lysvette Rodriguez is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist who provides thoughtful, compassionate care to individuals, couples, and families at all stages of life. Her work is grounded in creating a supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore challenges, build insight, and move toward meaningful change.
She earned her degree from Touro University Worldwide and brings a culturally responsive perspective shaped by her background and experiences. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Lysvette is fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows her to effectively connect with a wide diversity of individuals and families.
While she enjoys working with clients across the lifespan, Lysvette has a growing interest in expanding her work with women, particularly in areas related to emotional healing, life transitions, and personal development. Her approach is warm, approachable, and rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to “feel comfortable, supported, and understood.”
Lysvette’s passion for helping others extends beyond the therapy room. She has volunteered with underserved communities through organizations such as NIPERG in New York and the University of the Streets, where she supported children from low-income families through engaging and enriching activities. These experiences continue to inform her perspective and deepen her commitment to advocacy and support.
Family plays an important role in her life, also. She is married with two children and enjoys spending time together, traveling, and experiencing different cultures. Having recently relocated to Florida, she also brings a personal understanding of how major life changes can impact individuals and family dynamics.
Known for her genuine care and ability to build strong therapeutic relationships, Lysvette is currently working toward becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She encourages her clients to “Take things one step at a time; progress matters more than perfection.”
