Pamela Gonzalez Marquez is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who is dedicated to supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. She works with children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families, helping clients navigate concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, and relationship difficulties. Her passion lies in strengthening communication, improving emotional regulation, and fostering healthier family dynamics.
She earned her Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Albizu University in Miami. Originally from Puerto Rico, Pamela is bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing her to connect with and support a diverse range of clients. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped to grow. Known for her compassion, patience, and ability to connect with people from all backgrounds, Pamela is committed to guiding clients toward meaningful and lasting change.
“I have always had a passion for helping others and supporting families through difficult times. I believe that strong communication and understanding can help improve relationships and emotional well-being. What I enjoy most about this work is creating a safe and supportive space where people can share their feelings, learn healthy coping skills, and grow.”
Outside of her professional work, Pamela enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, exploring the outdoors, and trying new foods. One fun fact about her is that she participated in theater during high school, an experience that helped shape her confidence and creativity.
Pamela believes that growth takes time and often reminds her clients: “Be patient with yourself—small steps can lead to big changes,” and “You can’t control others, but you can choose how you respond.” She continues to work toward expanding her skills and experience to better serve those she supports, with the goal of helping every client feel understood, supported, and capable of positive change.
